Hi there! My name is Trisha and I’m twenty-five years old. I just graduated with my master’s in Environmental Studies this past December and now work as a Sustainability Officer at PLNU in San Diego. But it’s not all about science with me. I’m also a writer, musician, and the reason you’re here, photographer.
I’ve always enjoyed artistic pursuits including drawing and painting and photography was a natural extension of my creative endeavors. I enjoy photography because it creates a lasting memory of a moment in time whether the image is of a person, a landscape, or an animal.
As far as my style is concerned, I enjoy shooting locational portraits that allow people the freedom to be themselves. I like to walk around with my clients and let them feel comfortable and natural rather than overly posed. This isn’t to say I don’t provide suggestions, but for me a photo session is not just a checklist of required shots, but the process of getting to know the people I’m shooting.
I’m currently located in San Diego, California although I make frequent trips to the Inland Empire. If you have any questions about my photography, or anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
